The Kelly Ado has been a standout for nearly three decades. One of the earliest and most striking redesigns of Hermes’ iconic Kelly bag, the Ado—meaning ‘back’ in French—was produced until the early 2000s before taking a decade-long hiatus from Hermes ateliers. It returned in recent years, igniting excitement among collectors. This 2001 example is particularly unique, not only for its exotic matte havane crocodile exterior but also for its classic Toile H interior. The large 27cm size features a convenient handle at the top, enhancing the Kelly aesthetic.
