PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: “Graffiti” is derived from an Italian term meaning ‘little scratches,’ and this 35cm Birkin has encountered many such ‘little scratches’ throughout its rich 24-year journey, which began in 1998. As the latest addition to the artist’s ongoing series of “Graffiti Bags,” this piece features layers built up and rubbed away, creating a textured surface that plays off the metallic ground. Vibrantly colored tags adorn the bag, along with subtle winks to the viewer, written in various texts. A recurring theme throughout this Birkin is ‘Love,’ appearing in many languages all around the bag.
